Solar Submersible Pumps
The new range of Enviromax solar submersible pumps by HTC Industries has arrived.
Over many years of research and development we are now proud to say that we can supply a pump that is maintenance free and easy DIY installation that will give you peace of mind.
With the current conditions in the world concerning global warming as well as the situations that we as South Africans are facing with the increases in the local electricity prices we are all forced to look at alternatives in power generation. What better way than to have a submersible pump that is maintenance free and uses NO ELECTRICITY AT ALL.
The Enviromax pump is a positive displacement pump in a stainless steel housing, the motor is a DC brushless motor and is packed complete with Solar panel and Pump Controller.
There are various models available that will be able to give you a maximum head of up 70meters.
The Pump Controller is fitted with MPPT (maximum power point tracking) that will allow the pump to run more efficiently from your solar panel. Up to certain depths you will only need one of the specified solar panels. For deeper installations you will need to add one extra solar panel. Cost saver - MPPT technology reduce the solar panel size drastically.
Pump controller are fitted in a waterproof housing and has the functionality of fitting 3 water level sensors that will switch off the pump to prevent a dry run. The LED Lights on the controller will indicate clearly the condition of the pump making this even more user friendly.
The Pump Controller is also fitted with a “Tank” connection, to ensure the pump will automatically switch of when the tank is full. Any normal open contact float switch can be used. (Float switch not included)
The pump is designed to pump out of bore holes, rivers, dams and wells. With the strainer fitted you don’t have to worry about debris that will block your pumps as this will be stopped before it goes through to the pump.
On the Enviromax pump you will use normal 2.5mm 3 core SABS approved submersible cable and 22mm black PVC pipe class 6 for the installation.
